Resilient Success Stories 2026 submission
To accelerate the positive momentum our region is building toward greater sustainability and resiliency, the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) will be highlighting selected regional leaders and organizations at our Resilient Success Stories event at the Kauffman Foundation on the morning of December 4, 2026.

We are now accepting submissions for event honorees. Honorees will highlight their exemplary policies, plans, projects and practices aligned with the KC Regional Climate Action Plan. A panel of judges will select our honorees from the pool of submissions completed by Friday, September 11 at 11:59 p.m. CDT.

Selected honorees will share the spark for their work, challenges overcome and community benefits achieved. Stories may focus on one or more categories: buildings and energy, sustainable transportation, urban greening, circular economy, food and agriculture and community health resilience. Presenting honorees will be asked to participate in a group Q&A session after all presentations are complete.
